Childhood food revisited, Member jkalisch

I made this for my boyfriend who grew up in the South and he said these tasted even better than what he remembered. Since it is not a food I know, I had no margin of reference, but this appears to be a very authentic recipe. The entire pan disappeared within one day, very tasty.
