Yield: 4 Burgers
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 80% to 85% lean
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients until well blended. Shape into 4 or 5 patties, leaving an indention in the center of each burger. Grill for about 5 minutes on each side, or until done. If desired, top burgers with thinly sliced cheese about 1 minute before they're done.
