- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 3 tablespoons currant jelly
