Ingredients:
- 1 head Chinese cabbage
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
Cut bottom from the Chinese cabbage and discard. Slice into strips, discarding hard core pieces. Put in a saucepan with about 1/2 cup of chicken broth, onion powder, and Creole seasoning. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until tender. Remove cover and add lemon juice; continue to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, until chicken broth has reduced to about 1/4 cup. Taste and add salt and pepper, as needed.Serves 4.
