Ingredients:
- 1 yellow cake mix, 2-layer size
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup pancake syrup
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Preparation:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter into 2 8-inch cake pans.Bake 10 minutes in a 350° oven. Remove pans from oven. Sprinkle chopped evenly over both cakes. Combine pancake syrup and cinnamon; drizzle over both cakes.
Pour melted butter over both cakes; do not spread or stir. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer. Cool slightly and serve warm.
