I had trouble with this recipeDecember 17, 2009By grammapat495
"The recipe calls for a 1 # box of vanilla wafers. All the manufacturers have reduced the boxes to 12 ounces. I assumed that even though the recipe called for a pound that since I had seen it just a week or so ago on Today, that it would be okay. Wrong. The end result was so sticky that it was almost impossible to roll into a ball. I even added a lot of nuts to try to give the ingredients more body. Didn't help at all. I wasted my time and money."
