Toasted Cheese Logs

Cheese mixture is spread on bread then the bread is rolled up and toasted in the oven.

Cook Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard, plain or Bold and Spicy
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • thin slices bread, crusts removed

Preparation:

Combine cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, cayenne, and cream. Spread on trimmed bread. Roll slices to make "logs." Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and toast in a 350° oven or under broiler until lightly browned.
