Ham and Cheese Logs

An easy appetizer for any occasion, made with Cheddar and cream cheeses, deviled ham, olives, and pecans.


  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, room temperature
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (4 ounce) deviled ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped black olives
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans


In a small mixing bowl, beat cheeses together until well blended. Beat in deviled ham. Stir in chopped olives; chill thoroughly. Shape into two logs, about 8 inches in length. Roll cheese logs in chopped pecans.
Serve cheese logs with assorted crackers.

This is a really good party appetizer! I have made this recipe before. The ham and cheese logs are very easy to make. This recipe is good for the holidays and a great crowed pleaser and it is fun to make. I couldn't find my recipe so I went looking for it on the internet. Thanks so much for posting this on your site. I'm sure to make this soon and your right it's good for any occasion. Thanks again for this recipe, love it!! :)
