User Rating 5 Star Rating (1 Review)

This easy chicken recipe is made with sesame seeds and chicken breast halves, along with Dijon mustard and chicken broth. Serve this chicken with hot cooked rice or noodles.

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Put chicken breast halves between sheets of wax paper or plastic wrap and pound gently to flatten so it will cook evenly.
In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat; add sesame seeds. Toast, stirring, for 1 minute. Add chicken breasts to the skillet; cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is tender and cooked through, turning the pieces occasionally to brown evenly and to coat with toasted sesame seeds.

Remove chicken to a hot serving platter; keep warm. In a measuring cup, whisk together chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and cornstarch. Slowly add broth mixture to skillet; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Continue to cook and stir for about 2 minutes longer. Pour over chicken breasts and serve.

wonderful flavor!, Member cheryllk

Looking around for a simple yet delicious chicken dish? Look no further!! My husband loved it and my picky kids asked for more. I found the chicken to be moist and the sauce, yummy. The only thing I would of done differently was double the step at the end to make more sauce. I made plain white rice and poured the sauce across the rice and it was a hit. Deff. something I would make again and again.
