Chicken cacciatore recipe for the slow cooker, posted by Patti.
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces of frozen boneless chicken breasts
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 jar of chunky garden style spaghetti sauce
- salt, pepper, oregano, basil to taste
Preparation:
Put all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low
for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over spaghetti or rice.
