Crockpot Chicken Parmesan
Serve this tasty chicken recipe with pasta or rice. Scroll down to see more chicken recipes.


  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 to 8 boneless chicken breast halves
  • salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • garlic (clove or powder)
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • rice or noodles


Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken with a sprinkling of salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix spaghetti sauce, bay leaf and garlic in crockpot. Put chicken in sauce and cook for 5 to 6 hours, until tender. Remove chicken and sauce to casserole dish. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Heat in 350° oven until bubbly and cheese is melted. Serve chicken with sauce over pasta, spaghetti squash, or rice.

So Delicious and the Chicken is Moist!, Member szipkin

Made this today for dinner and it is awesome! Can't believe how moist the chicken is and how the spices stayed on the chicken (since I browned them first) and didn't get lost in the sauce. I will definitely be making this again. I also love how there is no breading used which makes it healthier. I did add thyme, rosemary and garlic to my sauce while it was cooking and I needed more sauce, so I heated up another jar on the stove. Definitely try it!
