Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh minced parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

- Biscuit Dough:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup milk
Preparation:
Prepare biscuit dough. Sift dry ingredients together into a bowl. Cut shortening and butter into the sifted ingredients until mixture resembles coarse meal. Lightly stir milk into dry ingredients, to make a soft dough. Roll or pat out to about 1/2-inch thick round. Place over chicken mixture. Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
