Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation:

Directions for chocolate chip cookies.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cream butter or margarine; add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, and soda; add to creamed mixture. Stir until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop the batter from a teaspoon, well apart, on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes.
