Low Fat Chocolate Snack Cake

A chocolate cake made with Splenda.

Cook Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Splenda
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup egg substitute
  • 1 cup natural unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon soft butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

Preparation:

Whisk together all ingredients; pour into 8 or 9-inch baking pan sprayed with cooking spray and dusted with flour. Bake at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly pressed. Serve with light or fat free whipped topping.
