Chocolate Cake With Broiled Peanut Topping

This easy chocolate cake is made with a chocolate or devil's food cake mix.

Ingredients:

• 1 package (2-layer size) chocolate or devil's food cake mix
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1/4 cup peanut butter
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup chopped roasted salted peanuts

Preparation:

Grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Prepare cake mix following package directions. Spoon batter into prepared pan and bake following the timetable for a 13x9x2-inch pan. Cream together butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar; stir in chopped peanuts. Spread mixture over warm cake. Broil about 6 inches from heat source for about 5 to 6 minutes, or until frosting is bubbly. Serve warm.
