Be the first to A traditional Kentucky pie recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed
of an electric mixer until blended. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour into pie pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50
minutes or until center is almost set (will still be somewhat jiggly). Cool on a wire rack.
