Brownie Drops

Chocolate cookies are drop cookies made with cocoa and chopped walnuts, along with other ingredients.

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation:

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in the vanilla and egg. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well. Stir in chopped walnuts. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet; bake at 350° for about 12 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen chocolate cookies.

I tried this recipe out. But rather than the nuts I used caramel chips. They are delicious!!
