Chocolate Chess Pie

This chocolate chess pie is made with butter, eggs, milk, and chocolate.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

Preparation:

Melt butter with chocolate. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate and butter mixture with sugar, flour, salt, milk, eggs, and vanilla; beat with electric mixer for 5 to 6 minutes. Pour filling into prepared pastry shell; bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes, until set.

Perfect, Member omjess

Tried this recipe when I was looking for an easy pie to make for Christmas. Followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfect! Great flavor, great texture, really filling and heavy on the tongue. Everyone loved it. Will definitely make again, and I will share this recipe with friends and family.
