Easy as pie and tasty tooJuly 21, 2008By zippylz
"I served this to friends who love chocolate pie. They raved, they had seconds... I almost felt guilty as this pie was so easy to make! I bought a pint of organic vanilla ice cream for this recipe and let it defrost in the fridge first. It mixed into the milk very quickly. I used one ""Chocolate"" pudding mix and one ""Chocolate fudge"" pudding mix. Instead of making the crust, I purchased a premade Oreo cookie crust and it went really well with it. Just before serving I whipped cream (sweetened with stevia) and sprinkled some chocolate shavings on top. I made the pie at 1:00 and popped it in the fridge and served at 6:00. It had a nice consistency, good flavor and looked nice on the plate."
