Easy Ham Steaks with Fruit Sauce

An easy holiday dinner idea, ham steaks with a cranberry juice sauce with raisins. Christmas dinner ham steaks.

Ingredients:

  • 4 to 6 ham slices, about 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 1/4 cups cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • pinch or more ground cloves

Preparation:

Arrange ham steaks evenly in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. In saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Pour over ham steaks. Bake, uncovered, in 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
