Ingredients:
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 tsp. rum flavoring
Preparation:
With an electric hand-held mixer, cream together butter, sugars, nutmeg, cinnamon and rum flavoring. Blend in the softened vanilla ice cream. Turn into a 4-cup freezer container. Seal and freeze (will not freeze solid). To serve, spoon 2 to 4 tablespoons of mixture into mug. Add 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir well. Garnish with cinnamon stick. This can also be added to coffee. Makes 12-24 servings, depending on size of mugs.
