Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cups flour
- 3 heaping tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- raspberry jam, seedless, or your favorite jam or
Preparation:
Cream butter with the powdered sugar. Gradually add flour. Add vanilla and roll into balls. Place the balls on a cookie sheet and use your thumb to make an indentation in the center of each cookie. Place a dab of jam in the center thumbprint. Top with a nut. Bake at 325 degrees for about 15 minutes, until bottom and edges are browned. Makes about 3 dozen.
