Ingredients:
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter, softened
- Pinch salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- rum, as desired
- boiling water
Preparation:
Combine brown sugar, butter, salt, and spices; beat until fluffy. Place a heaping
tablespoon of batter mixture in cup. Pour in as much or as little rum as you like and fill cup with
boiling water. Stir and serve hot. Makes enough for about 30 servings.
