Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds large mushrooms
- 8 ounces pork sausage
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation:
Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems and set aside. Cook sausage; remove from skillet. Using 1 to 2 tablespoons of sausage drippings, cook mushroom stems for 5 to 10 minutes, until tender and browned. Remove from heat and stir in sausage, bread crumbs and cheese. Fill mushroom caps with the sausage mixture. Bake 15 minutes at 450°.
