Ingredients:
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
- 1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix, 2-layer size
- 4 ounces butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation:
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Dump cranberries into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Dump apple pie filling into pan. Spread mixture evenly and spread dry cake mix on top. Cut up butter and dot top of cake. Sprinkle walnuts or pecans over the cake batter. Bake at 325° for 65 to 75 minutes, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
