Christmas logs made with peanut butter, crispy rice cereal, coconut, pecans, and chocolate coating.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 2 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 bar paraffin wax
  • red and green sprinkles, optional

Preparation:

Melt 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan. Stir in 1 cup chunky peanut butter. Combine 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 cup pecans, 1 cup coconut, and 2 cups crispy rice cereal. Mix with above, form into logs or balls, and chill. Melt chocolate chips in a saucepan. Melt 1/2 bar paraffin wax. Combine the chocolate and parafin; dip logs in chocolate mixture. If desired. sprinkle with red and green sugar sprinkles. Let cool and set.
