Fruit juices and citrus peel make this a delicious holiday spiced tea.
Yield: Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 2 tea bags
- 2 strips of orange peel, about 2 inches
- 2 strips of lemon peel, about 2 inches
- 12 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 2 cups pineapple juice
Preparation:
Combine the tea bags in a saucepan with the orange and lemon peels, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and boiling water. Let steep for about 15 minutes. Add the cranberry juice and pineapple juice. Bring to a simmer and strain. Serve hot.
Serves 6.
