Blackberry Cobbler Recipe with Blackberries and Apples

A blackberry cobbler recipe with blackberries and apples, along with sugar, butter, and other ingredients.

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • sugar for sprinkling

Preparation:

Cream butter and 1/3 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with the milk; beat until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine blackberries, apples, and 1/2 cup sugar. Put fruit mixture in a buttered 9-inch round cake pan. Pour batter over the fruit. Sprinkle with a little sugar. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve with cream or ice cream.
Apple Blackberry Cobbler serves 6 to 8.
