This is the cobbler recipe I have been looking for since I left Austin Texas 11 years ago. This is absolutely the best cobbler recipe ever. I am a retired baker and could not come up with a recipe better than this one. Some cobblers the topping gets gooie, some the apples are steamed rather than baked, some have too many apples and not enough topping, but this is perfect. This is my favorite APPLE recipe. You won't be disapointed.
