Cook Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; beat in lemon extract and peel. Beat in eggs until well blended. Mix in dry ingredients. Stir in raisins and chopped walnuts. Drop cookie dough by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet; bake at 350° for about 12 minutes.
Makes about 5 to 6 dozen lemon drop cookies.
