Mustard Sauce

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup malt vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 4 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces

Preparation:

Place all ingredients as listed in blender on high speed until smooth (2 minutes). Transfer to top of double boiler and cook over gently boiling water, stirring often for 12 to 15 minutes or until thickened and smooth. Blend again until smooth. Refrigerate in covered container for 12 to 24 hours before using. More Sauce Recipes
