Grandma's Corn Pudding

This family corn pudding, from a forum member, is made with a sweet topping. Scroll down for more corn casserole recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Topping, below

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients together and place in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake in a 325° oven for 45 minutes, pour topping over and serve.

Topping
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Melt margarine; add flour, water and sugar. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer one minute.
