Maple Fried Corn

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups fresh corn cut from cob
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons whole milk

Preparation:

Spray a heavy skillet or use a tablespoon of butter; saute corn and onion for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients; simmer gently 20 minutes.
This delicious recipe is originally from a 1989 "Cooking Light" magazine.
