Ingredients:
- Pepperidge Farm White Sandwich Bread
- Hellmans Mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce, such as Crystals
- salt and pepper
- cracker meal *see Suzy's note
- flour
- thinly sliced Red onions
- chopped lettuce
Preparation:
After soaking coat them in cracker meal and flour mixture. About half and half of each. Deep fry them in hot deep oil (around 370°) until browned. Serve crabs on bread with lettuce and red onion slices.
Suzy's Note: ...cracker meal is the shake and bake and fish fry stuff. It is finely ground cracker and you really can't beat it.
