Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 28 ounces baked beans
  • 8 ounces pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped (can be sweet red pepper or omitted )
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

"The flavors were good, it was also a nice mix of sweet with the beans. It was not too sweet. Made it at work, had some compliments. I thought the onion would be to much, seemed like a lot when I was cutting it up, but it turned out well. I served them with Fritos and co workers scooped the beans up with the Fritos. Also, as it cooks it turns more liquidy, so don't be fooled when you first see it all blended, before cooking."
