Favorite Red Beans with Smoked Pork Chops

Super easy red beans with smoked pork chops.

Cook Time: 8 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound dry small red beans, soaked for at least 8 hours
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers, or one red and one green, chopped
  • 1 pound smoked pork chops, diced
  • 1/4 cup Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce

Preparation:

Rinse and sort beans after soaking. Put in the crockpot with 3 cups of water, chopped onion and peppers. Cook on high for 2 hours. Add smoked pork chops, Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce, and barbecue sauce, and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours. Taste and season with salt and pepper or more Country Bob's sauce or barbecue sauce, if desired. Serve over rice or as a side dish.
Red bean recipe serves 6 to 8.
