Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pound. lean ground beef
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 2 cans pork and beans (I use home made beans)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 oz) can tomatoes, crushed
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- crushed red pepper to taste
- chili powder to taste
- cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation:
Brown ground beef; drain off excess fat and transfer to crockpot; add all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.Nina's Note: Use as much or as little of the seasonings as you like. My family likes their chili hot so I use quite a bit. Start with 1/2 teaspoon of each and adjust or delete to your preference. Enjoy.
