Crockpot Barbecue Beef & Bean Stew

A recipe for barbecue beef and bean stew for the crockpot.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 to 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 large can (28 ounces) barbecue beans
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (1 medium pepper)
  • 1/2 cup julienne carrots, optional
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) tomatoes, diced

Preparation:

Brown ground beef with onion; combine with remaining ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook bean stew on low 6 to 8 hours.
