This is an easy bean dish to serve along with a cookout or pulled pork barbecue. The beans are mixed with browned ground beef and honey, slow cooked to perfection.
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) pork and beans
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. cold water
Brown ground beef; drain well. Place ground beef in the slow cooker; add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 9 hours.
