Cyndy's Black Beans

Ingredients:

  • 3 (15 oz) cans black beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/1 2 cups chopped green pepper
  • 1/1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 vegetable bouillon cube or vegetable base
  • 3 to 5 bay leaves
  • 1 (14 oz) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water

Preparation:

Combine ingredients in slow cooker; cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
