Ingredients:
- 1 lb dried black beans
- 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed
- 12 to 16 ounces smoked sausage (chorizo, kielbasa, etc.)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chopped onion
Preparation:
Slice sausage. Brown beef with the sliced sausage. Drain off excess fat. Stir all ingredients into beans in slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 10 hours. Add more water if necessary.
