Cook Time: 9 minutes
Total Time: 9 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound stew beef or round steak, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 1 can condensed tomato soup, about 10 1/2 ounces
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Gravy Master or Kitchen Bouquet
- 2 to 3 medium potatoes, cubed
- 3 medium carrots, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup frozen peas (add last before serving)
Preparation:
This is REALLY good with Bisquick dumplings on top. Follow the recipe on the Bisquick box and drop the dumplings on top of the hot beef stew, recover with the lid, turn to HIGH, and cook another 1/2 hour or until dumplings are cooked.
It's also good with any type of hot rolls.
From Ness: This beef stew recipe changes a little each time I make it...depending on the
veggies I have on hand.
