Easy Crockpot Beef and Rice

Easy crockpot beef makes a good filling for tortillas, or serve with rice.

Cook Time: 5 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 to 2 pounds stew beef, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 cup thick and chunky salsa
  • 1 envelope burrito or taco seasoning mixture
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • shredded cheese, optional

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot; cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Serve over hot cooked rice and sprinkle with cheese, or serve with warm tortillas.
Serves 4 to 6.
