Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. beef sirloin or round, cut in cubes
- 4 medium potatoes, cut in cubes
- 3 carrots, cut in 1/2-inch slices
- 2 cups sliced celery
- 1 package frozen onions, about 10 ounces
- 1 slice white bread, torn into small pieces
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can whole tomatoes with juice
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 3 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed tomato soup
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours. Do not stir. 6 to 8 servings.
