Would make again, BUT......May 19, 2008By kellictitus
"I can tell that this would be a good recipe with some adjustments. First of all, know that I am a garlic LOVER but the 5 cloves ends up tasting just terrible with the onion and lemon juice mixture. I would recomment just 1 clove honestly. Next, I would make sure you put a lot of black pepper in as well, it goes best with the lemon juice. And last, after it was done (which took my crockpot 5 hours on low with 4 large frozen chicken breasts), I removed the chicken and put the onion/cooking juice mixture in a sauce pan and got it boiling. Then I added cold water and cornstarch mixed together to thicken this up. Not quite a ""gravy"", just not such a runny mess. I will make it again using what I just suggested. I think it will make it really good. BTW--The chicken was cooked perfectly and the onions were great!!!"
