Here's a stuffed chicken dish that's easy to prepare and cook in the slow cooker. This basic combination of chicken rolled up with ham and cheese is wonderful with rice or noodles. Add a tossed green salad or sliced tomatoes for a perfect meal.
Yield: Serves 4
- 4 boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
Pound chicken breasts thin. Place 1 slice each of ham and
cheese on each breast half Roll up and place into bottom of slow cooker/Crock Pot. Combine golden mushroom soup, 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 cup of dry white wine.
Mix well and pour over chicken in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
Serve chicken with rice or noodles.
