Crockpot Swiss Chicken

An easy chicken recipe for crockpot or slow cooker.

Ingredients:

  • 6 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

Preparation:

Wash chicken pieces and pat dry. Lightly grease slow cooker or spray with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in pot. Top with the Swiss cheese. Spoon soup over cheese then sprinkle with stuffing mix. Drizzle melted butter over stuffing mix. Cook on low 6 to 7 hours or high 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
Serves 6.

"I am a cooking imbecile, but somehow this recipe made me look like I actually knew what I was doing. Instead of butter, I used chicken broth and it made the stuffing a really nice texture. I HIGHLY recommend this recipe for anyone ... especially someone who is hesitant about cooking. I promise, if I can do it ... you DEFINITELY can!"
