Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Easy crockpot chicken barbecue recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup thick barbecue sauce

Preparation:

Put flour, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper in a food storage bag. Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat thoroughly. Heat oil in large skillet; add chicken and brown on all sides. Put half of the barbecue sauce in crockpot; add chicken then add remaining sauce. Cook on low 6 to 7 hours, or until chicken is tender and juices run clear.
Serves 4 to 6.
