"I made this recipe for an office holiday potluck as a side dish. Great comments! The hardest part was peeling the apples. I used Granny Smith apples - 5 apples. I made in the morning of the event, put it on low until I left for work. Commuted to work (about 45 min) then put it on high for about 45 minutes -1 hour while at the office to make up lost time. Then, I put it on low until the luncheon at noon. Smelled good in my office. Stirred on occasion."
