Spicy Picante Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lean pounds ground beef
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 pound processed cheese, shredded or cubed (Velveeta)
  • 1 stick (4 ounces) margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 cup picante sauce

Preparation:

Brown meat and onion. Drain. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook on low heat until cheese melts, about 1 1/2 hours. Serve in slow cooker with a bowl of tortilla chips.
